Can't my host handle updates automatically?
Managed hosts handle backups and core updates well. They do not check whether an update broke your specific form, checkout, or custom code. That gap is what a care plan fills.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Cleanup is included on Care and Commerce: take offline if needed, restore clean backup, close the entry point, scan for backdoors, reset credentials. On Essentials it is a fixed-fee add-on.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Month-to-month, thirty days’ notice. Ongoing plans should be earned monthly.
What counts as a "small fix"?
Content edits, image swaps, pages from existing templates, form fields, plugin settings, tracking codes, minor CSS. New templates, custom features, redesigns, and integrations get a separate quote.
Do you maintain sites you didn't build?
Yes, most of them. I audit first. If the site is genuinely unmaintainable, I will say maintenance is a holding pattern and a rebuild is the better spend.
Will maintenance make my site faster?
It stops it from getting slower. Making an already-slow site fast is separate one-time optimization work.
