Website Redesign Without Losing Traffic
Most sites do not need a redesign because they look dated. They need one because the site has stopped doing its job — slow on phones, messy navigation, and hard for your team to update.
I rebuild around how people actually use the site, on WordPress or Next.js, keeping every ranking and backlink you have already earned.
Redesigns fail in three predictable ways: they lose traffic, get slower, or become unmaintainable. A redesign is worth doing when it fixes structure, speed, and migration at the same time as the visual refresh.

Who This Is For
Existing sites that are slow, bloated, or hard to edit — especially Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or old purchased themes. Not for brand-new sites from scratch or single campaign pages.
- Existing WP site, slow or hard to edit
- Business changed; site content did not
- Organic traffic you cannot afford to lose
- Mobile traffic, desktop-first experience
- Paid traffic under-converting
- Too many plugins doing partial jobs
- Not a fit: net-new site (use WP development)
- Not a fit: single campaign LP
Project Timeline
Assumes content and feedback within a few days. Content readiness usually sets the pace more than the build.
| Project size | Scope | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 5–10 pages, existing brand, WP | 2–3 weeks |
| Standard | 10–25 pages, blog, design system | 4–6 weeks |
| Large | 25+ pages, Woo, custom, or Next.js | 8–12 weeks |
Soft Pricing Estimates (USD)
Estimates in USD, quoted as a fixed price after the audit — not hourly. Redirect map, performance, and QA are included on every project.
| Scope | Estimated range |
|---|---|
| Small WP redesign, 5–10 pages | $2,000–$3,500 |
| Standard + blog + design system | $3,500–$6,000 |
| Larger / complex migration | $6,000–$8,000 |
WooCommerce, membership, multi-language, or Next.js often run $8,000–$15,000+. See the website redesign cost guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Rankings, Elementor rebuilds, cost, content rewrite, downtime during build, speed, and ongoing help.
Will a redesign hurt my search rankings?
It can if migration is careless. Protection is a complete URL map, 301s for every changed URL, preserved titles/headings, rebuilt internal links, and a post-launch crawl. Permanent traffic loss almost always means skipped redirects.
Can you redesign my Elementor site without rebuilding everything?
Sometimes. If structure is sound, cleanup is cheaper. If nested widgets and stacked plugins dominate, a clean rebuild usually costs less than continuing to work around it. The audit decides.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Most land between $2,000 and $8,000 depending on pages, templates, and content rebuild. Custom WooCommerce or Next.js go higher. You get a fixed number after the audit.
Do I need to rewrite all my content?
No. Most content migrates as-is. The audit flags thin, duplicated, or cannibalizing pages worth rewriting or merging.
What happens to my current site during the build?
It stays live and untouched. The redesign is built on separate staging until launch day.
Will the new site be faster?
That is a core goal and it is measured on real templates before launch — not assumed from screenshots.
